Sandra & Toby's Wedding 15 July 2006

Steve & I drove to West Sussex on Friday, calling in on Sandra & Toby on the way to drop off their presents and card. We set up our trailer tent for the first time. The "campsite" was on a slope and it took a while to peg down but was a nice size.

We spent some of the morning on the day of the wedding trying to buy a gas canister as we got there to find ours empty, Steve urgently needed a cup of tea!

The skies were totally clear on the day the wedding was held, and was held in a lovely church in Hurstpierpoint - of course we forgot our confetti! Sandra looked fantastic.

The reception was held where we were camping. There were canapes in the garden whilst photos were taken, followed by the wedding breakfast. The speeches were great; there were three best men, all of Toby's brothers. Helen saw a couple of people she knew from Uni. At the end of the night we stumbled back to our tent as everyone else waited for their taxi home.

On Sunday we visited Borde Hill Gardens, then went to Brighton beach - not really our cup of tea but it was good for people watching.

Monday was even hotter, we had to pack the trailer tent away and drive back in 30c temperatures. It was a good job we had air conditioning. We have to pack for France now and the forecast is 40c there!
